Role Purpose:
The Quality Documentation Specialist is responsible for routine laboratory data entry, product tracking in the inventory system and quality auditing throughout the brewery. Accurate entry and reporting of Quality Data is vital for consistently making in specification product with reliable production processes at the breweries. It is critical that data be accurate to ensure the product quality, consistency, and legal compliance requirements are met at all times. To ensure this standing, a robust Quality Management Systems and LIMS must be embedded assuring right first time production, process throughput, and cost avoidance due to non-conforming product.
Accountabilities & Impact:
- The purpose of this role is to manage data for MAB Quality. Led by the Sr. Quality Manager, this role:
- Enters daily analysis into QAR, LIMS, and the E80 Inventory systems
- Audits in-coming packaging materials quality and out-bound finished goods quality
- Initiates “Holds” and NCRs as required
- Manages “Hold” and rework product inventories and coordinates releases based on Sr. QM dispositions
- Works with the Quality Manager to determine NCR disposition and updates status in EtQ NCR system
- Provides training for employees on assigned Quality system requirements and procedures
- Supports Quality and Food Safety programs to assure compliance to standards
- Develops SOPs in EtQ for operator and lab personnel use in monitoring product quality, consistency and traceability
Skills & Experiences Needed:
- Role requires an Associates degree in a Science or Business field with 1 – 3 yrs. demonstrated experience in Quality Systems data entry, LIMS implementation and/or management
- Demonstrated ability to successfully manage and/or support multiple projects, ensuring timelines are met and stakeholder engagement
- Solid knowledge of site processes, GMPs and people
- Demonstrated capabilities technical writing and document management
- Highly effective written and verbal presentation skills. Ability to clearly articulate requirements and gain understanding and support.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent skills with data management programs like MS Excel, Access, SAP and others
- Advanced Excel VBA programming skill a PLUS.
