Role Purpose:
The Materials Planner-Scheduling is responsible for creating and maintaining the tactical production schedule to ensure finished good availability to meet our customers needs.

The Materials Planner-Scheduling is responsible for creating and maintaining the tactical production schedule to ensure finished good availability to meet our customers needs.
Accountabilities & Impact:
- Work with Central planning to create an efficient production schedule that meets the demand profile while balancing plant constraints & material/ingredient availability
- Work with the Operations team to develop/modify the production schedule and associated batches to optimize line efficiency & output
- Communicate with the central planning group to improve inventory coverage and review demand requests for opportunities to improve plant efficiency
- Work with the Raw Materials Planner, Packaging Materials Planner and the Warehouse group to ensure that materials are available to execute the production plan
- Bachelor’s degree required in Supply Chain or related field
- 2-4 years related experience in Scheduling, materials planning, purchasing, or customer supply chain, logistics, etc. preferred
- Solid understanding of supply chain dynamics, ERP systems & data management; advanced Excel skills
- Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills with a high attention to detail
