Production Scheduler

Role Purpose:

The Materials Planner-Scheduling is responsible for creating and maintaining the tactical production schedule to ensure finished good availability to meet our customers needs.

Accountabilities & Impact:

• Work with Central planning to create an efficient production schedule that meets the demand profile while balancing plant constraints & material/ingredient availability
• Work with the Operations team to develop/modify the production schedule and associated batches to optimize line efficiency & output
• Communicate with the central planning group to improve inventory coverage and review demand requests for opportunities to improve plant efficiency
• Work with the Raw Materials Planner, Packaging Materials Planner and the Warehouse group to ensure that materials are available to execute the production plan
  
  

Skills & Experiences Needed:

• Bachelor’s degree required in Supply Chain or related field
• 2-4 years related experience in Scheduling, materials planning, purchasing, or customer supply chain, logistics, etc. preferred
• Solid understanding of supply chain dynamics, ERP systems & data management; advanced Excel skills
• Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills with a high attention to detail
