Job Summary
The Lead Maintenance position is responsible for overseeing and coordinating maintenance activities within the facility. This role requires a strong background in maintenance management and project management, ensuring that all systems are operating efficiently and effectively. The Lead Maintenance will supervise a team of maintenance technicians while also performing hands-on tasks as needed.

Duties

  • Supervise and lead the maintenance team in daily operations, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment and systems to identify issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage maintenance projects from inception to completion, including planning, execution, and follow-up.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical components, and mechanical equipment as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs.
  • Train and mentor team members on best practices in maintenance procedures and safety measures.
  • Distribute and track work orders to Maintenance Technicians.
  • Participate in Maintenance quarterly meetings, annual budget preparation, Capital Improvement process and other administrative duties.
  • Conduct monthly, quarterly and/or annual unit inspections.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of maintenance management principles and practices.
  • Proficient in project management with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with logic controllers and ability to read schematics for electrical systems.
  • Excellent supervisory skills with a focus on team development and performance improvement.
  • Solid mechanical knowledge with the ability to use tools such as voltmeters for diagnostics.
  • Proficient in English for effective communication within the team and across departments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
