Front Desk Agent
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Front Desk Agent to join our team. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere. You will handle guest inquiries, check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and assist with any other guest needs to ensure a pleasant stay.
Duties:
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Check guests in and out efficiently, processing payments and providing necessary information
- Answer phone calls and direct them appropriately, taking messages when needed
- Assist guests with inquiries and provide information about hotel facilities and services
- Handle reservations and cancellations accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a tidy and organized front desk area
- Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure guest satisfaction
- Uphold phone etiquette standards when interacting with guests
- Execute tasks in line with hospitality management standards
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred
- Knowledge of hotel operations, including phone systems and guest relations
- Strong phone etiquette skills are essential
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
