Mark III Construction is looking for an HVAC Startup Technician for the Sacramento area. This Tech will start up and troubleshoot air handlers, heat pumps, and condensing units.

Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of chillers, boilers, air handlers, VRF Systems and HVAC systems
- Complete start-up checklists, pre-functional checklist, system readiness checklist, etc.
- Installs and starts-up equipment, meeting deadlines
- Correctly diagnose HVAC issues on chillers, boilers, cooling towers, compressors, pumps, CRAC units, heat pumps, VAVs/CAVs, VRF Systems etc.
- Interprets blue prints and specs, submittal data and installation/operation manuals to provide complete startup per manufactures recommendations
- Documents work by completing all paperwork on each job for each piece of equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot as issues arise
- Work with Commissioning agents as required and complete require documentation
- Correctly diagnose HVAC issues on Chillers, Boilers, Cooling Towers, Compressors, Pumps, CRAC units, Heat pumps etc.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a commercial setting as a Startup Tech or a Service Tech with install experience
- Able to Start up/Service/Troubleshoot - VRF, RTU'AS, Exhaust Fans, AHU's...
- Must have personal hand tools to work with
- Have excellent technical skills and outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Must have the ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen

Hourly Wage: $50/hour - $60/hour DOE
