Overview
Mark III Management is seeking an experienced and dynamic Regional HUD Property Manager to oversee multiple HUD properties within our portfolio. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a passion for property management. The ideal candidate must have a deep understanding of HUD guidelines. The Regional Manager will be repsonisble for leading property operations, managing staff, ensuring coompliance with HUD regulations, hotma and maintaining high standards of resident satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of assigned properties, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Support Property Managers and maintenance personnel with HUD Management and Occupancy Reviews (MOR), and address any deficiencies found during inspections.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to maximize occupancy rates.
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure maintenance standards are met and address any issues promptly.
- Handle tenant relations, including conflict management and resolution of tenant concerns.
- Collaborate with maintenance staff to ensure timely repairs and upkeep of properties.
- Maintain accurate records using property management software such as Yardi and Microsoft office suite.
- Prepare reports on property performance, occupancy levels, and financial metrics for upper management.
- Ensure compliance with HUD guidelines,LIHTC regulations and other applicable laws.
Skills
- Proficient in office software applications and property management systems (Yardi).
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally.
- Proficient in the use of HUD Secure Connection Systems (i.e. TRACS, EIV, REAC, REMS. ETC.
- Familiarity with property maintenance processes and best practices.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with tenants, staff, and vendors.
