Title: Legal Assistant

Location: Springfield, NJ (In-Person)

Salary: $50,000 - 65,000, Based on Experience

Job Responsibilities To Include:

• Manage Attorney calendars and confirm meetings
• Create new files for clients and send out retainer letters
• Manage and delegate incoming client and prospective client communication
• Greet clients visiting the office, phones, intakes, and extra intra-office communications
• Draft pre-litigation communications, pleadings, and discovery demands and response
• Coordinate and work closely with Associates on all talks for litigation

Required Background/Skills

• 2 years of legal assistance experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Organized, detail-oriented, and efficient
• Personable and team-oriented with a positive attitude
• Proficiency in MS Office and Court filings (State e-Courts and Federal Pacer/ECF)

Preferred Experience

• Spanish-speaking
• Have worked for an employment law firm
• Have worked for a civil litigation firm
