BIM DESIGNER

Mark One is looking for an experienced BIM designer. The successful candidate must be a self-motivated, quality focused individual. Our ideal candidate will have experience and working knowledge of structural design. Understanding and experience with facility design, layout and detailing is important. A minimum of 2 years experience in designing electrical lighting, power, and systems for buildings. An associates degree in related field or experience in lieu of degree.

Job Responsibilities :

Create electrical drawings for facilities such as lighting systems, power systems, communications, security, and fire detection in compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC)Perform basic system calculations, drawing production, some master specification editing and construction cost estimatingPerform assignments utilizing standard engineering techniques and procedures under the supervision of a licensedResponsible for the electrical layout of multiple projects using Trimble StationsEnsuring that all documents and designs meet CAD standards and Quality Program CriteriaProduce internal pre-fabrication plans and complete quality control review to ensure the finished materials match the plans.Ability to attend clash detection meetings with other trades and general contractors to create detailed shop drawings for the field.As a fully experienced, competent design technician, direct the efforts of less- experienced BIM Technicians asPrevious experience with an architectural / engineering or engineering consulting firmPerform other duties as neededGame Changing Benefits
