Responsibilities
Vehicle Repairs: Execute a variety of repair tasks on vehicles, focusing on restoring vehicles to their original condition.
Body Work: Perform bodywork tasks such as panel replacements, dent repairs, and applying finishes to vehicles.
Technical Assessments: Use diagnostic equipment to evaluate vehicle damage and determine necessary repairs.
Quality Assurance: Ensure all repairs meet industry standards and customer satisfaction.
Collaboration: Work closely with the parts and service teams to ensure efficient workflow and communication.
Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest techniques and tools in automotive repair and bodywork.
Maintain Equipment: Regularly inspect and maintain equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Requirements
Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience in auto body repair or a related field.
Certifications: ASE Certification is preferred but not required. Vocation training in automotive repair is a plus.
Technical Skills: Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment for auto body repairs.
Attention to Detail: High degree of accuracy in bodywork and painting.
Problem Solving: Strong ability to diagnose issues and determine the best course of action for repairs.
Physical Ability: Capability to lift at least 50 lbs and work in various positions for extended periods.
Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with a team while maintaining individual accountability.
Communication Skills: Good verbal communication skills to effectively interact with coworkers and customers.
Valid Driver's License: Required to test drive repaired vehicles when necessary.
