Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and enthusiastic Event Assistant to support the planning, coordination, and execution of events. As an Event Assistant, you will work closely with the event team to ensure all aspects of the event run smoothly, from pre-event preparations to on-site management and post-event follow-up.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and coordinating events, including meetings, conferences, trade shows, and corporate parties.
- Handle logistics such as venue selection, catering, transportation, and accommodations.
- Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and partners to secure event materials and services.
- Help manage event registrations and attendee lists, ensuring accurate and timely responses.
- Coordinate with the event team to create and distribute event materials such as programs, invitations, and signage.
- Assist in the execution of event schedules and ensure activities are running on time.
- Provide on-site support during events, including troubleshooting issues and responding to guest needs.
- Manage inventory of event supplies and order additional items when necessary.
- Assist in gathering feedback from attendees for event evaluations and reports.
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or related field preferred).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-service-oriented approach.
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
