Our clinic is seeking a cashier to assist our staff Pharmacists with a variety of tasks to help ensure that our patients receive the best possible care. The cashier must be detail oriented and possess strong organizational skills. The right candidate will have prior experience in a pharmacy setting and will be able to work independently and efficiently. He or she will be the first point of contact for any questions regarding medication, drug interactions or insurance coverage.
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service to patients, families, and other customers.
- Use good judgment when dealing with patients, visitors, families, and co-workers.
- Prepare medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Prepare paperwork to inform the doctors of their patients' status and condition.
- Follow the instructions of the supervisor in the absence of a pharmacist.
- Keep records of all transactions at the pharmacy.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $18.00 per hour
