Appliance Repair Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Appliance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of appliances in our laundromats, most of which are commercial washing machines, commercial dryers, water heaters, and hvac systems. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, HVAC, and equipment repair. The Appliance Technician will work both in the field and in a workshop setting, ensuring that all appliances function efficiently and effectively.

Duties

• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with various appliances including commercial washers, commercial dryers, water heaters, and hvac systems.
• Perform repairs on appliances by utilizing schematics and technical manuals, along with manufacturer technical support.
• Conduct routine maintenance monthly, bi annually, and annually to ensure optimal performance of washers, dryers, and hvac units.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed, warranty exchanges, and parts used.
• Collaborate with team members to improve service efficiency and customer satisfaction at our many laundromats.

Experience

• Proven experience in appliance repair or a related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with HVAC systems is advantageous.
• Strong electrical knowledge and ability to read schematics are essential.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are required.
• A commitment to providing high-quality customer service to our laundromat customers by keeping equipment running well is crucial for success in this role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
