Responsibilities
The Limited DEXA Scan position is responsible for knowing his/her professional scope of practice, maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment. Performs patient care services that support the physician / provider's practice under the clinical supervision of the Radiologist, Technologist or other licensed staff. This includes assisting in prepping patients for examinations and procedures.

Qualifications
Experience:
- Six months experience in Bone Density/DEXA scans.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent. Satisfactory completion of a formal X-ray Bone Densitometry or limited X-ray technology in an approved program or training.
- Associates Degree (preferred)
Licensure:
- Must have a current Limited License/ Permit in Dual Energy Absorptiometry Technology from the State of CA, Department of Health Services.
- Current AHA CPRBLS certification.
Special Skills:
Excellent interpersonal, organizational and customer service skills are essential.
Thorough understanding of basic anatomy, proper operation of and care of Bone Density equipment, and radiation safety.
