This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of the Organization. Qualifications
Minimum:
- Certification of a Medical Assistant program
- Medical Assistant Certification
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- California State Phlebotomy Certification (required within 12 months)
- Demonstrates skills in taking vital signs and height and weight measurements
- Knowledge of sterile technique and handling of infectious waste Ability to work as a team and communicate well and interact appropriately with others
- Able to work in spite of frequent interruptions
- High level of concentration and attention to detail
Preferred:
- One-year experience in physician/clinic setting
- High School diploma or GED
- Additional EMT or equivalent experience
- Current EMT license
- Current ACLS & PALS certifications (American Heart Association)

Pay Range
