What are the responsibilities and job description for the Network Technician position at Mark Twain Rural Telephone Company?
The Network Technician position is responsible for installing and maintaining the core data network for Mark Twain Rural Telephone and Mark Twain Communications. The responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to, installing, and configuring core networking equipment such as routers and switches, installing and maintaining DC Power Systems in central offices and cabinets, installing and maintaining last mile solutions such as GPON FTTP and Commercial Wireless equipment. The position is responsible for configuration, remote monitoring, and troubleshooting connectivity issues with field technicians. This position reports to the Mark Twain business office. Travel to Kansas City, St. Louis, and throughout northeast Missouri is required for this position.
Technical experience with routing, switching, DC power, and communications networks is required. Certifications from Cisco, Juniper, CompTIA, Ciena, Adtran, Aruba, and others are recommended but not required. Applicants with adequate experience in a related field should also apply.

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
