This position involves providing professional support in a small business environment. We're seeking a motivated Professional/Entry Level Analyst responsible for project organization, professional writing, and communicating with attorneys, CPAs, CEOs, CFOs, and key business personnel. Other duties include organizing financial documents, updating project communications, and inputting financial data. The role requires strong communication, multitasking, and proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook. Duties and Responsibilities
- Correspond with clients by email and phone
- Extensive use of a project management program called Trello
- Project set-up in word and excel templates
- Research and organize information and maintain network files for a number of projects at one time
- Project set-up using Excel templates, investigate and discover formula errors
- Writing company summary based on information submitted by clients and independent research
- Writing economic summaries for specific cities or state as needed
- Using subscription resources and internet to write industry summaries for specific projects as needed
Qualifications
- Strong technical/business professional writing skills
- Outstanding communication skills
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft office applications: Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams
- Flexibility and willingness to perform tasks ranging in level of complexity and nature
- A strong track record of delivering high quality work under tight deadlines
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in an office environment
- Ability to multi-task, manage projects and prioritize
- Fierce attention to detail
- Ability to follow through many simultaneous open projects from end-to-end
- Experience with database programs, gathering, exporting and importing information
- Creative and curious self-starter
- Ability to integrate computer skills to improve efficiency and productivity
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in history or English preferred
- · Will consider applicants with an undergraduate degree in accounting, finance or related field after submission of writing sample
