Title : IT PMO Lead
Job Purpose :
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced IT PMO Lead to lead our IT Project Management Office (PMO) while also hands-on managing large-scale enterprise projects. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of leadership, strategic oversight, and hands-on project management expertise to drive successful IT initiatives. This role will play a critical part in ensuring project delivery aligns with business goals, fostering collaboration between IT and business stakeholders, and improving project governance within the organization.
Main Duties and Responsibilities :
- Lead the IT PMO, establishing and enforcing project management best practices, frameworks, and governance processes.
- Manage a portfolio of large-scale, enterprise-level IT projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.
- Provide hands-on project management for critical IT implementations, overseeing all phases from initiation to deployment.
- Mentor, develop, and manage a team of project managers, providing guidance and oversight to drive high-performance project execution.
- Collaborate with business and IT leadership to define project priorities, align resources, and establish clear objectives.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success and continuously improve project execution methodologies.
- Oversee risk management and mitigation strategies, proactively identifying and addressing project roadblocks.
- Manage stakeholder communication, ensuring transparency and alignment across departments.
- Ensure projects adhere to compliance, security, and regulatory requirements, particularly in clinical trials and logistics domains.
- Champion Agile and hybrid project management methodologies, adapting best practices based on project needs.
- Support and lead large-scale portfolio reviews with senior management, ensuring alignment with business strategy and priorities.
- Ensure that business value, project charters, business cases, financial planning, and CAPEX processes are followed for each project.
- Ensure that each project has a well-defined system adoption and training plan to drive user engagement and successful implementation.
- Provide leadership and motivation to project team members throughout the project life cycle, and confer with project staff to outline a work plan.
- Ensure project communication plan, RAID exists for all projects.
- Ensure that project goals are in line with business objectives.
- Review status reports prepared by project managers, and monitor and help PMs modify schedules or plans as required.
- Explore new ways to increase customer or client satisfaction.
