Hotel Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and be adept at troubleshooting and repairing various systems. This role is essential in ensuring that all equipment and facilities are maintained in optimal working condition, contributing to the overall efficiency of our operations.

Duties

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Interpret schematics and blueprints to diagnose issues and implement solutions.
• Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and maintenance schedules.
• Conduct inspections of facilities to identify potential problems before they escalate.
• Work with other staff, fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Carry out sheetrock and building repairs as needed and requested.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing maintenance-related inquiries from staff.
• Carry out painting tasks to maintain aesthetic standards within facilities.
• Perform scheduled routine maintenance on HVAC units, sink drains, grease traps, refrigeration, and other facility equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system equipment breakdown issues.

Experience
Candidates should have a solid foundation in mechanical knowledge, with experience in HVAC systems being highly desirable. Previous hotel maintenance experience is a plus. Experience painting will also be beneficial. The successful applicant will demonstrate organizational skills, enabling them to effectively perform tasks in an efficient manner.
