Assistant General Manager (Full-Time)
The Assistant General Manager (AGM) helps drive lease-ups, resident satisfaction, and financial success while leading a motivated team. This role ensures smooth operations, top-tier service, and a thriving community. Serves as a leader in our organization ensuring associates have the tools, resources, and direction to be engaged and successful.
Key Responsibilities
- Embody our mission: See Clearly. Simplify Everything. Communicate Effectively.
- Know the ins and outs of property management, including Fair Housing laws and tenant rights.
- Oversee finances, leasing, marketing, maintenance, and daily operations.
- Provide stellar customer service to residents, prospects, vendors, and community partners.
- Recruit, train, and support employees to maintain high occupancy and performance.
- Organize on-site operations and hold team members accountable.
- Drive leasing and marketing efforts with clear expectations and resources.
- Monitor market trends and competition to keep leasing strategies sharp.
- Participate and contribute to the property’s (bi-annual) turn over/make-ready process.
- Represent the property in court for evictions and tenant disputes as needed.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook); Entrata experience is a plus.
Education & Qualifications
- Maintains highest standards of professional customer service
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Prior experience in student or multi-family housing
- Working knowledge of Entrata is preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft office 365 suite
- Strong knowledge of Fair Housing laws.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate degree or bachelor’s degree preferred.
Team Structure
Oversees: Leasing Agents, Leasing Assistants, Accounting Staff, and supplementary team members.
Reports to the: General Manager
