Markesman Group is seeking an experienced Space Electronic Warfare (EW) Analyst to support the analysis and advancement of electromagnetic spectrum operations (EMSO) in space. The ideal candidate will have expertise in space electromagnetic warfare, spectrum analysis, and DoD capability assessment processes. This role involves evaluating offensive and defensive space control EMS capabilities, identifying capability gaps, and contributing to future concepts, strategies, and policies that enhance joint electromagnetic spectrum operations (JEMSO) readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze space electromagnetic spectrum operations, including strengths, threats, and vulnerabilities.
- Conduct assessments of DoD space EW capabilities and identify capability gaps based on current and emerging adversary threats.
- Support the development of future space EW concepts, strategies, and plans.
- Provide subject matter expertise on behalf of the USSTRATCOM Joint EMSO Center to influence JEMSO-related policy across the DoD.
- Participate in JCIDS and PPB cycle assessments to inform space EW capability development.
- Utilize statistical analysis and methodologies to evaluate electromagnetic warfare data and trends.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the DoD to advance JEMSO readiness and capabilities.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering, physics, electrical engineering, or a related STEM field.
- TS/SCI Government Clearance
- Minimum 5 years of experience in space electromagnetic warfare or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in space electromagnetic spectrum analysis.
- Understanding of JCIDS and PPB cycle assessments for DoD space EW capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong analytical skills with an understanding of statistical analysis and methodologies.
