Responsibilities
- Develop and design creative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and current food trends.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste.
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing training, guidance, and support to foster a positive work environment.
- Collaborate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs and preferences of guests.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and taste in all dishes served.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and sanitation practices throughout the kitchen.
- Assist in budgeting and cost control measures to optimize profitability while maintaining quality.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality or food service industry.
