Position: Seafood Associate
Location: Market 360, New Haven
Job Type: Full-time / Part-time
What You’ll Do:
- Provide outstanding customer service, assisting guests with seafood selections and cooking suggestions.
- Prepare, cut, and package fresh seafood while maintaining the highest quality standards.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and display of all seafood products.
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in the department.
- Stay informed about product knowledge, sustainability practices, and seasonal seafood offerings.
What We’re Looking For:
- Prior experience in a seafood department, fish market, or food service (preferred but not required).
- Knowledge of various seafood species, preparation methods, and safe handling practices.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to learn and grow within a high-end grocery setting.
