They work with their supervisor to develop plans for growth centered around their strengths and interests. MDR provides opportunities for training and skill development through our internal training program, participation in industry-related trainings, webinars and conferences, and with an annual employee education reimbursement benefit.
Research Assistants at MDR have three potential growth pathways within the company: Research Analyst, Qualitative Researcher, and Project Management. Currently, we anticipate a need to add additional Research Analysts to our team and encourage candidates with demonstrated technical aptitude and an interest in a career in quantitative research to apply.
Hybrid Work Environment
Like many other companies, MDR quickly shifted to remote work at the beginning of Covid. We offer a flexible schedule with the tools and technology in place to support remote work and are now primarily a hybrid company. Most team members are in the office 1-2 days per week, with the remaining days at home. We feel strongly that the person hired for this entry level position will benefit greatly from some time in the office to train, collaborate and integrate into the company and the way we operate, and prefer candidates who are comfortable with committing to being in the office 1-2 days per week. Plus, our office space is great! We’re in the heart of downtown Portland, on the 8th floor with great views of Casco Bay, Back Cove and all the way to Mount Washington.
