Job Role: As an Apprentice Meat Cutter, you'll have the opportunity to learn and grow with our team while contributing to the success of our Meat Department. Your primary responsibility will be to assist our Butchers in preparing and packaging meats for sale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cut meat to be sold to customers by taking the product out of the cooler and cutting it into smaller sizes to be packaged for sale
- Follow proper procedures to ensure store meets out-of-stock percentage goals
Requirements:
- 6 to 12 months experience or successful completion of the Giant Eagle Apprenticeship program
- Prior meat cutting experience
- Certification or Licensing Required: Meat cutting certification
