What are the responsibilities and job description for the Baker Apprentice position at Market District?
We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team at Market District. This individual will play a key role in crafting high-quality Bakery products that exceed our customers' expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a wide range of Bakery products according to established recipes, including scratch recipes.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety and sanitation regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and making suggestions to our customers.
- Rotate product and ensure code dating procedures are followed to provide only the freshest product available for sale.
- Accurately record special orders on Bakery products to ensure customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- 6-12 months of experience in a Bakery or related industry.
- Prior experience working in a Bakery is preferred but not required.
- Successful completion of the Giant Eagle Apprenticeship program is also an option.
