The Frozen Food Lead is responsible for directing and managing Team Members, ordering perishable and non-perishable products, and implementing merchandising initiatives to stimulate business growth. This position requires prior experience in the field of frozen food management and the ability to prepare, maintain, and track records concerning inventories and work processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and manage Team Members to achieve business objectives
- Order perishable and non-perishable products to meet customer requirements
- Implement merchandising initiatives to stimulate business growth
- Supervise all Team Members in the frozen food department
Requirements:
- Prior experience in the field of frozen food management
- Able to prepare, maintain, and track records concerning inventories and work processes
- Develop and implement merchandising plans using guidelines and suggestions
- Control department costs by monitoring and improving operations
- Direct, oversee, and evaluate training provided by a trainer
- Develop and maintain communication processes with other departments
- Analyze customer satisfaction and team member point of view surveys
- Ensure proper procedures are followed to meet out-of-stock percentage goals
- Actively support a culture of safety, diversity, inclusion, and respect for team members, customers, vendors, and the community
