Bakery Team Leader
Manages the entire bakery team and ensures seamless operations.
Guides team members and guests in designing custom cakes and arranging platters for parties.
Accountable for department performance at all times, promoting diversity and inclusion while developing individuals with respect and dignity.
Coaches team members regularly, providing timely feedback to identify areas for development and coach for success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage team member issues, including complaints and discipline record.
- Direct, oversee, and evaluate training provided to department team members to reduce turnover and promote efficiency.
- Develop future leaders by identifying poised team members and nurturing an environment of inclusion and diversity.
- Inspire the team and guests with a passion for food and a willingness to exceed expectations.
- Set and reach aggressive sales and profit goals by making suggestions and managing shrink.
- Establish ongoing communication plans to inform and prepare team members.
- Communicate with merchandising teams to ensure promotions are effectively communicated.
- Analyze financial reports to improve performance in sales, profits, shrink, labor controls, and reduction.
- Oversee period inventories for accuracy and monitor weekly fluctuations in inventory and shrink dollars.
