Our chosen candidate will be eligible for our employee benefits package which includes medical / dental / vision, PTO, and 401k.The right candidate will have an outgoing personality, likes to function as part of a team, is a self-starter, has a great attitude, notices the details, and values accuracy.This is a full-time position with opportunity to grow.Position Responsibilities : Experienced with making high-quality service repairs on semi-trailers to minimize comebacksMaintain a safe work environmentWilling to work in all weather conditionsAccurately diagnose and perform repairs on varies types of trailers including but limited to; brakes, tires, lights, scuff lines, floors, roofs, side panels, bumpers, landing gear, etcMust have strong knowledge of DOT regulations as well as ability to identify maintenance issuesTrailer mechanics must have excellent customer service skills and maintain communication with leadersMust be clean, organized, motivated and take pride in their workMust be able to lift up to 75lbs or moreMaintain company vehicle and equipmentOther duties as assignedQualifications : Must have 49 CFR 396.19 and 396.25 certifications2 years of trailer mechanic experienceMust be able to perform Reefer services and repairsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredProficiency in the use of hand tools requiredMust have your own toolsMust have a valid driver's license and be insurableSkilled with computers and paperwork for RO'sAble to quickly learn new programs and processesAble to communicate professionally both verbally and in writingReliable and dependable with a strong attendance historyCompensation & Shift : Full-time, Friday-Monday, day shift position 6 : 00am - 4 : 30pm, 10-hour workday and 30-minute lunch Starting wage of $28-32 per hour depending on experience and qualifications BenefitsoMedical insuranceoDental insurance oVision insuranceoLife insuranceo401(k) with employer matchoPTO If you'd like to join our team, please reply to this ad with your current resume detailing applicable experience.
