The Raleigh Dream Center is looking for a Recovery Director to lead their recovery program.
As Recovery Director, you will oversee the daily program and manage all details relating to the recovery program, which includes, but is not limited to: classroom material, managing the physical needs of the members, and overseeing the weekly/monthly schedules for the program.
This is a full-time position reporting to the Executive Director.
Here are some of the things you’ll be doing:
- Work closely with the Executive Director on strategic planning and helping to develop quarterly and annual goals to achieve the vision. This includes managing the staff within your department and keeping them accountable to achieving the goals.
- Prepare and submit an annual operational budget to the Executive Director and Board of Directors for review and approval, manage effectively within this budget, and report accurately on progress made and challenges encountered.
- Evaluate progress against goals (VTO) for the organization. This includes projecting growth for supplies, staffing needs, vehicles needed, and more.
- Prepare monthly ministry reports for the Executive Director and the Board of Directors.
- Communicate regularly with your program coordinators and support staff on expectations and tasks and give them opportunities to give feedback on operations.
- Lead weekly department meetings and give performance reviews for all direct reports.
- Actively pursue external partnerships to provide additional resources for the support of the program.
- Help develop and implement the use of communication and task management software (Slack, Asana, case management software, etc). Work with your staff to maximize the use of these tools to benefit the organization.
To be considered for this role, we prefer you have:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in human services, psychology, social work, counseling or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory role
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Competent in professional reporting and communication

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
