Market of Choice is seeking a full-time Event Services Assistant Manager for Venue 252, our state-of-the-art event center in Eugene!
This is a new and exciting opportunity for an event services professional to be part of our growing team!

DUTIES
- Management of Venue 252 events center operations
- Training and development of personnel
- Supervise, schedule and train employees
- Create and maintain accurate records
- Manage purchasing, merchandising, and expense control
- Maintain security requirements and standards
- The ability to use various office software packages, including word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, calendaring, e-mail management and the Internet, and to create, compose and edit written and electronic materials
- General Housekeeping
REQUIREMENTS
- Catering and event management experience
- Logistics and systems oriented
- Obtain and maintain ServSafe certification
- Obtain and maintain a current OLCC license
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to adjust schedule and management style to varying tasks and demands
- Physical ability to work in office and kitchen production environments, including the use of stairs and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in weight
Applicants must be available for weekend, after hours, occasional out of town, and overnight work.
