JOB OVERVIEW
EA Langenfeld, a professional sales organization, is seeking an energetic and focused individual to join our team as a salaried Sales Professional for our Farm/Ag Division residing in the Minneapolis, MN area. We are seeking an self-starter who can operate within a team environment, to work with our clients in developing sales and marketing strategies and to drive new and existing product sales within the Hardware Farm/Ag channel. Territory responsibilities will be throughout the Midwest region of the country including the states of IA, IN, KY, IL, MN, SD, ND, MO, KS, WI as well as OK and TX. Travel will be
With general direction, this person will be responsible for several customers, managing established and new clients of a diverse group of consumer product categories including automotive, pet, lawn & garden, sporting goods, hardware, plumbing, electrical and housewares. This position will require overnight travel as well as the ability to work tradeshows throughout the year.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
·. The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree and preferably 3-5 years of experience working in a sales role. Prior experience working within the hardware or farm/ag industry is a plus. Strategic selling and planning skills are a must. We are looking for a self-starting individual that has very strong interpersonal communication skills, that presents themselves in an extremely professional manner and someone who enjoys face-to-face interaction. Must have the ability to thrive both independently and in a team environment. Qualified candidates must possess excellent computer skills and be proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are a necessity.
