What are the responsibilities and job description for the Busser position at Market Street Grill and Oyster Bar?
Qualifications and Skills :
- One-year high volume upscale tray experience is preferred, not required
- Must be motivated, friendly, upbeat, outgoing and positive.
- Must be able to assist guests and possess great customer relations skills
- Ability to work positively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Ability to be on your feet and alert for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. as needed
- Continuous use of hands and arms
- Continuous bending, reaching and twisting
- Set up station to facilitate efficient turning of tables
- Understand beginning, ongoing and ending sidework
- Sweep outside areas as necessary
- Be ready to assist guests with questions and needs
- Work quickly to clear and reset tables in an efficient manner
- Rotate through guest restrooms on a regular schedule to ensure cleanliness and adequate stock of all supplies. Clean as necessary.
- Be available to assist with spills and various cleaning duties throughout the shift
- Best Busser compensation package in Salt Lake. Bussers can earn $50 - $200 per shift in tips depending on business volume
