Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting daily housekeeping operations and ensuring exceptional service delivery. This position requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, ability to multitask and follow directions & constructive criticism in a fast-paced environment. The Assistant will be instrumental in fostering positive guest relations and enhancing overall customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Provide outstanding customer service by addressing and resolving issues promptly.
- Manage cleaning systems, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, dusting and laundry with professionalism.
- Assist staff to ensure adherence to company policies and cleaning standards.
- Facilitate smooth operations through effective coordination of schedules and resources with regard to energy efficiency, effective use of cleaning products, time management, etc.
- Support hotel management with administrative tasks, including documentation and reporting.
- Maintain a welcoming environment for guests by ensuring cleanliness and organization of common areas inside & outside, including porch, parking lot & other outdoor areas.
- Utilize multilingual skills to assist diverse clientele, enhancing communication and guest experience.
Requirements
- Proven experience in customer service or hospitality roles is preferred.
- Strong leadership abilities with experience in working peacefully with team members.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Familiarity with hotel management practices is a plus.
- Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are highly desirable for effective guest relations.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong attention to detail.
- Common sense approach to personal & business info, not to be shared with others.
- Always dress & act appropriately. Fingernails to be kept short and groomed. No makeup extremes. No gossip or offensive behavior.
