Summary : Key Responsibilities : Team member first and foremost is responsible for guest relations and satisfaction. He / She will sample products and interact with guests for the purpose of generating sales and educating the consumer. He / She will maintain professional appearance of department all times. This individual must be sales oriented, as well as goal oriented. Thoroughly learn products prior to demo. When a guest enters my area or department, my first and most important responsibility becomes to acknowledge, greet, and engage that guest. Always relate to the guests in a friendly and knowledgeable manner. Implement Schedule. Set up and maintain demo area presenting products attractively and enthusiastically provide guests with information on products. Strive to reach personal and departmental sales goals as required. Promote the featured products as well as companion sales. Have a working knowledge of appliances and basic cooking techniques. Willing to continue education with regard to new products, techniques and safety. Must be outgoing and able to communicate effectively and enthusiastically with the public through interpersonal skills. Complete paperwork correctly accurately as required by departments. Other duties as assigned by management.Key Requirements : Retail Experience preferred. Basic cooking and selling skills required. Flexible schedules including holidays and weekends. Must be able to lift 40 lbs., grip necessary utensils securely to perform tasks and stand for long periods of time – up to and exceeding 6 hours. Perform all other physical aspects of the job including bending, squatting, lifting, climbing, and walking. Must maintain a current Food Safety Certification. Ability to function as a team member and get along with others.
