What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bookkeeper position at Market Tree Research?
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with GAAP and IRC §280E.
- Track raw material costs, work-in-progress inventory, and finished goods to properly allocate expenses.
- Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll with accuracy.
- Assist outside tax preparer with income tax preparation by ensuring compliance with 280E regulations and maintaining clear records of allowable deductions.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts.
- Work closely with operations, procurement, and production to ensure accurate tracking of inventory and cost of goods sold (COGS).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.93 - $23.04 per hour
Experience:
