Marketers on Demand is searching for a Business Development Manager to join our fast-growing client’s team! A company who values their employees and offers a competitive benefits package.

This role requires you to be onsite.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Build and maintain corporate market position; identify and close Federal business opportunities within assigned portfolio
  • Develop and execute a growth strategy for assigned domain; achieving sales and revenue goals
  • Create and manage an active pipeline of opportunities; proactively seek new targets to meet growth objectives
  • Qualify opportunities through various resources to inform bid / no-bid decisions
  • Secure and maintain strategic relationships with new and existing customers and partners
  • Lead and support Bid & Proposal efforts, collaborating with teams to develop responses & solutions
  • 25-35% travel

Key Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant area
  • Over two years’ experience in business development or sales
  • Over three years’ experience working for a federal contractor in either business development, program operations, or bid / proposals
  • Experience developing strategic collaborations
  • Experience using SharePoint (or similar) and sourcing tools such as SAM.Gov, FedConnect, Deltek Govwin, etc.
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, Visio, Project)
