Architectural Surfaces is a premier provider of custom architectural millwork and surfaces. We’re looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Custom Counter Fabricator to join our Chattanooga team. Key Responsibilities:

• Use hand and power tools to construct custom reception counters, cabinetry, and fixtures using wood, plywood, laminate, and veneer
• Apply laminate and veneer to shop-built walls and fixtures
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and job specs to determine materials and layout
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials (CNC machine handles most cutouts)
• Follow company standards for fabrication and make repairs or adjustments as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
• Work occasional overtime or weekends to meet deadlines as needed

• Proven experience in custom fabrication and woodworking
• Strong skills in carpentry and laminate application
• Ability to manage inventory of tools and supplies
• Comfortable working independently and taking initiative

• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
• High attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
• Experience working on complex projects and problem-solving on the fly
