Pay range: $55k - $75k

Full-time (Exempt) Monday to Friday 9am - 5.30pm. This post is open to remote working in the US only.

Marketing By Design LLC is seeking a talented Production Artist to join our team.

As a Production Artist, you will be required to create packaging artwork files such as primary folding cartons, labels, and secondary packaging PDQ trays, (POP) point of purchase merchandisers and corrugated self-shipper cartons, etc. You will manage the creation of files from the digital artwork origination stage through completion of press-ready digital artwork files. Using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop CS you will create color separated digital artwork including complex projects with multiple spot colors.

The ideal candidate will be process driven, have an exceptional attention to detail, and an ability to thrive in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.  In addition to having strong problem solving and decision-making skills, they will also have a passion for accuracy and quality in their work.

We are looking for someone who:

·     Can understand project briefs and interpret requirements.

·     Can prepare and create electronic “press-ready” artwork using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop CS

·     Will revise existing artwork files and augment to suit a different print process or packaging type.

·     Will check and compare artwork files for brand and layout consistency across related packaging categories.

·     Can inspect artwork files for correct usage and application of consistent copy style specifications.

·     Will ensure that packaging artwork, copy and die-line confirms to the clients’ brand requirements.

·     Is open to feedback and has an aptitude for learning and growth.

Preferred Skills, Experience and Qualifications.

·     Proven experience producing digital packaging (press-ready) artwork is essential.

·     Expert level digital artwork assembly skills required in both Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

·     Working knowledge of InDesign, MS Word and MS Excel, and experience with Mac OS.

·     Strong attention to detail and work ethic.

·     Excellent communication and math skills.

·     Flexible approach with the ability to work in a fast-paced studio handling multiple tasks to tight deadlines.

·     Ability to self-directed, self-motivated, organized and disciplined.
