Infrastructure and Security Intern
About the Role
We seek an IT intern to join our dynamic IT department for a hands-on learning experience with
enterprise-level systems management and security implementation. The intern will work alongside
our IT team on three critical infrastructure projects while gaining valuable experience in enterprise IT
operations.
This is an onsite internship staring April 2025
Key Projects and Responsibilities:
Project 1: Windows 11 Enterprise Deployment
● Support the planning and execution of company-wide Windows 11 upgrade
● Assist in compatibility testing of business applications
● Help create and maintain deployment documentation
● Support end-user communication and training initiatives
● Assist in tracking upgrade progress and reporting
Project 2: Remote Software Deployment and Patching Solution
● Help evaluate remote management, software deployment, and patching solutions.
● Assist in setup and deployment of the new solution
● Support documentation of remote worker software requirements
● Aid in creating deployment procedures for remote systems
● Help track and document remote system compliance
Additional Comments: The minimum commitment is four months (one semester) with a
commitment of 20 hours a week and the opportunity to extend to 30 hours per week based on the
candidates availability. Hours are standard business hours, and times are flexible to accommodate
class schedules. Although there is no role that the internship directly leads to, based on performance, extensions or full-time status are a possibility. On-site is a requirement. This is not a remote position.
