THE OPPORTUNITY:
Marketlab is looking for a versatile and forward-thinking Photo & Video Producer to take the lead in creating high-impact visual content that brings our brand and products to life. This role is equal parts creative and operational—you’ll collaborate closely with our in-house creative, marketing, and sales teams to produce dynamic imagery and videos that connect with B2B healthcare audiences. In addition to production, you’ll also manage our digital asset library, ensuring visuals are accessible, organized, and optimized for use across all channels.

You won’t just be capturing products—you’ll be capturing the purpose behind them.

What You’ll Do:

Creative Content Production

• Elevate the quality and consistency of photography and video by developing a stylized approach that aligns with brand guidelines and market expectations.
• Capture visuals that showcase products, people, and environments in a way that resonates with healthcare professionals and decision-makers.
• Produce a wide range of imagery: professional headshots, lifestyle imagery, action-oriented environmental shots, product silos, and how-to content.
• Shoot and edit compelling product videos, campaign videos, event coverage, and internal communication.
• Create visuals that tell a story and build brand equity, not just fill a space.

Collaboration & Creative Partnership

• Work closely with the Creative Lead, Designers, and Marketing team to translate campaign objectives into visual narratives.
• Partner with Marketing and Sales to develop content that supports revenue-driving initiatives—campaigns, product launches, sales tools, and more.
• Collaborate with contract photographers, stylists, and assistants when external production support is needed.
• Assist in planning and budgeting for location shoots, set design, and prop sourcing.

Asset Management & Process Ownership

• Lead the organization, tagging, and maintenance of assets in our Digital Asset Management system (Cloudinary), ensuring everything is easy to find, accurate, and properly formatted.
• Establish, improve, and document SOPs for asset creation, editing, uploading, and archiving.
• Manage photography and video-related metadata across platforms (Agility CMS, DAM, etc.), ensuring swatches, thumbnails, and naming conventions are correct.
• Process and edit vendor-supplied assets and integrate them into our asset library per established protocols.

Studio Management

• Maintain studio equipment, merchandise, and prop library, ensuring everything is in good working order and ready to use.
• Photograph new products and new hires, processing and uploading per SOPs.

Quality Assurance

• Review and proof imagery in print and digital formats, providing feedback to Designers to ensure final output meets expectations.
• Stay informed on trends, technologies, and best practices in photography, video, lighting, and editing to continually raise the bar.

What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Photography, Multimedia, Visual Arts, or related field—or equivalent professional experience.
• 5 years of experience in commercial photography and video, preferably in a B2B or healthcare-focused setting (additional B2C experience is a plus)
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere, Lightroom; InDesign and Illustrator a plus).
• Experience with Cloudinary (or comparable DAM), CMS platforms, and asset workflows.
• In-depth understanding of studio and natural lighting, camera systems, sound, and file formats.
• Meticulous attention to detail—especially when it comes to naming, tagging, formatting, and consistency.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with non-creative stakeholders.
• Comfortable balancing creative exploration with structured processes and timelines.
