About The Opportunity
MarketOnce is seeking a meticulous and proactive Accounts Payable Clerk to join our growing finance and accounting team. Reporting to the CFO, this role entails more than just invoice processing — it offers full insight into the accounts payable function. You will oversee expense coding, manage vendor relationships, and provide essential support for month-end close and financial operations. This is a dynamic opportunity to enhance processes, utilize advanced financial tools, and broaden your expertise within a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
What You'll Do
- Reviews and processes payments for a high volume of vendor invoices; assists in processing the weekly check runs and maintains vendor files; triage of received electronic and traditional mail invoices.
- Processes vendor invoices and employee expense reports of high volume.
- Ensure timely and accurate payments, reconcile AP accounts, and resolve accounting questions.
- Prepare accounting statements and materials required for audits.
- Review financial status and progress, including past due reporting.
- Analyze reports for weekly bank reporting.
- Develop and maintain systems, procedures, and policies for accounts payable functions.
- Drive process improvements and procedures for vendor setup.
- 3-5 years of relevant accounts payable experience
- Associate degree in accounting, finance, or business administration is preferred
- Intermediate/advanced knowledge of MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP's, Formulas, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Working knowledge of an accounts payable system.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and with a team.
- Experience with Great Plains/Microsoft Dynamics preferred
- Competitive base salary: $48,000 - $60,000

- 1st Round: 30-minute interview with the Recruiter, followed by an aptitude assessment within 24-48 hrs
- 2nd Round: 60-minute interview with the Hiring Manager
- 3rd Round: 2 hours of interviews with the Hiring Team, onsite unless the candidate is remote
