Assistant General Manager (AGM) – MarketPlace PHL
Location: Onsite at Philadelphia International Airport (PHL)

MarketPlace PHL, the contracted management company responsible for the food, beverage, and retail concessions program at Philadelphia International Airport (PHL), is hiring an Assistant General Manager (AGM) to oversee daily operations and drive performance across our program.
This is an onsite position at PHL, working closely with merchants, airport stakeholders, and operational teams to ensure efficiency, compliance, and a high-quality traveler experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day operations of retail and food & beverage establishments within PHL.
- Develop and manage an operations team, ensuring strong performance and accountability.
- Oversee budget management, expense control, and operational efficiencies.
- Serve as the key operational liaison with the Department of Aviation, TSA, airlines, and other airport entities.
- Ensure compliance with airport regulations, including street pricing and risk management programs.
- Work cross-functionally with leasing and development teams to facilitate merchant openings.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of senior-level operations management experience
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Experience managing budgets, optimizing operational costs, and improving business performance
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
