Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Traveling Merchandiser to join our team. As a Merchandiser, you will be assigned a territory to conduct store visits for two of our clients, LG Home Entertainment/Appliance and Beats Headphones. You will be responsible for ensuring that products are properly displayed and stocked in retail stores. You will work closely with store managers and sales teams to create visually appealing displays and maximize product visibility. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently and has a passion for merchandising.
Duties:
- Implement merchandising strategies to optimize product placement and drive sales
- Set up and maintain product displays according to planograms and schematics
- Stock shelves, racks, and displays with merchandise
- Ensure products are accurately priced and labeled
- Conduct regular inventory counts to monitor stock levels
- Collaborate with store managers to identify sales trends and adjust displays accordingly
- Build positive relationships with store personnel and provide exceptional customer service
Requirements:
- Previous experience in retail merchandising or related field preferred
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with store personnel and customers
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload
- Proficient in using planograms, schematics, and other visual merchandising tools
- Detail-oriented mindset with a keen eye for visual aesthetics
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills to address any issues that may arise during merchandising activities
