What are the responsibilities and job description for the Martech Developer position at MarketWise?
We provide training and ongoing support but also empower our staff to work creatively and independently. This position reports to the Director of Monetization.
Responsibilities
- Develop new functionality for Brownstone’s landing pages and order funnels (i.e. PayPal integration on our order forms, video player functionality changes, etc.)
- Help implement split tests in a timely manner. These may include new landing page variations, new order form variations, and tests regarding video player and/or order form functionality
- Timely development of new lead-gen signup landing pages and subsequent funnel pages.
- Place and test advertising network pixels and tracking mechanisms in a timely manner to ensure acquisition order volume is maintained and continues to grow
- Assist UI Developers with marketing promotional launches
- Develop order funnels for occasional off-calendar monetization initiatives
- Transform creative marketing concepts into detailed technical specifications, ensuring marketing vision is accurately translated into implementable features while maintaining brand consistency and meeting business objectives
- Drive innovation and continually strive to streamline overall processes
Qualifications
- Development knowledgebase including HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP, SQL, API, Webhooks
- Experience with Google Tag Manager
- Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Excellent written and oral communication skills (well-spoken, professional, friendly, and courteous).
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to identify and quantify the financial impact of opportunities
- Ability to learn new programs/software/coding languages and skills quickly.
- Self-motivated and driven

Salary Range: $75,000-$100,000
