Ironman Sound Industries is now a part of Markey's, a leading multi-state provider of creative audio-visual services. We are seeking a Full-Time Operations Coordinator to join our team in St. Louis.
The Operations Coordinator will be responsible for the scheduling of Event Technicians, full-time and part-time, based at the St. Louis Regional office, ensuring the effective execution of live, virtual, and hybrid events. This individual is responsible for managing technical operations, providing leadership, maintaining high standards of customer service, and ensuring smooth coordination between technicians, clients, and project managers. The role includes a balance of hands-on technical work and supervisory responsibilities.
This role is a Full-Time, salaried (exempt) position. Hours will vary based on scheduling of events. Includes occasional nights and weekends, as needed.

Position Responsibilities
- Schedule Event Technicians in Lasso in a timely and accurate manner.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of Event Technicians, providing recommendations for training and support.
- Work closely with Account Managers, Project Managers, and Technicians to assign the best technicians for events, based on skills, experience, and availability, to guarantee seamless event execution.
- Coordinate Technician travel when necessary (e.g. flights, hotels, car rentals).
- Manage all aspects of Lasso software for scheduling in the St. Louis office. Train internal users on the software. Coordinate R2 and Lasso to ensure proper staffing for events.
- Approve time, PTO, and expense reports for event technicians.
- Coordinate and participate in interview process for Event Technicians, full-time and part-time.
- Monitor performance of Event Technicians, make recommendations for training and advancement. Coordinate with the Director of Event Production and General Manager on larger employee issues.
Necessary Skills
- Proven experience in managing a technical team, providing leadership, mentoring, and performance management.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with clients and internal teams.
- Ability to work under pressure, maintaining professionalism and a high standard of customer service.
- Experience in scheduling, resource allocation, and managing event logistics.
- Have familiarity with Lasso scheduling software and R2 inventory software.
- Ability to embrace the company's culture, follow policies, and demonstrate respect for diversity.
- Experience in operating, troubleshooting, and overseeing audiovisual equipment and event technology.
- Physical demands include the ability to assist technicians in set-up and tear-down when necessary and for training purposes, including lifting equipment up to 40 lbs.
