Markey's, a multi-state leading provider of creative audio-visual services, is seeking a Full-Time Supervisor to add to our expanding team in Louisville, KY. The Supervisor is a client-facing position that is also responsible for assisting the Director in overseeing daily operations at Hotel Distil. The shift and hours will vary depending upon business need, and some weekend work is required.

Currently looking for a Full-Time, hourly (non-exempt) role.

Position Responsibilities

Work with Director of Event Technology overseeing the Event Technology department.
Direct supervision of daily events, personnel, and inventory. This position will not be responsible for handling any serious HR-related employee issues.
Review daily records and ensure all functions are set and run smoothly.
Keep track of Hotel Distil inventory using established systems as well as establishing new systems and procedures to better track inventory.
Give work direction to employees and help develop them professionally.
Comply with Markey’s Employee Handbook as well as Hotel Distil Associate standards.
Attend weekly Event Order meetings with hotel event staff as well as occasional customer meetings.
Setup and operate gear as needed.
Fulfill other duties as assigned to ensure success of Markey’s events.

Requirements

Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks thoroughly and in a timely fashion.

Handle stressful situations in a professional manner.

Communicate effectively with internal as well as external clients.

Must have a strong working knowledge of A / V equipment.

Take and follow directions given by the Director of Event Technology.

Maintain a positive attitude and professional appearance at all times.

Must be able to follow directions and implement tasks.

Must have excellent customer service skills.

Ability to work as part of a team.

Must be able to lift 70 lbs. without assistance.

Able to work a flexible schedule as dictated by business needs.

Working knowledge of MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
