What are the responsibilities and job description for the Concrete Foreman position at Markham Contracting Co., Inc.?
Markham Contracting is one of the oldest, privately owned contractors in the Heavy Civil industry here in Phoenix, founded in 1977. Since then, we have grown to be one of Arizona’s largest full-service grading, paving, concrete, wet and dry utility and general engineering contractors who values its employees and provides them with every opportunity to be successful.
Requirements
- Read and understand blueprints and drawings.
- Measure and mix concrete in the proper quantities for each project.
- Use power and hand tools to pour concrete.
- Supervise and assist crew members.
- Keep records of all time worked and materials used.
- Create work schedules and project documents.
- Knowledge of current MAG specs and standards.
- Ability to understand plans and survey.
- Ability to efficiently organize a 10-15 man crew and meet daily productions.
- Ability to push safety, quality, and production without sacrificing any specific aspects.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years experience.
- Valid drivers license.
- Knowledge of leadership techniques.
- Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in construction projects.
