Summary
We are seeking a Wet Utility Superintendent to join our team at Markham Contracting Co., Inc. This role is essential for supporting various utility construction projects and ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation and maintenance of wet utilities.
- Support construction site operations by performing various tasks as directed by supervisors.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including OSHA standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment on-site.
- Operate machinery and tools safely as required for utility work.
- Collaborate with team Foreman to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Report any issues or concerns to the supervisor promptly.
Qualifications
- Experience in construction or utility work is mandatory.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations is essential.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors.
- Basic understanding of construction site operations and procedures is beneficial.
- Familiarity with project scheduling tools is a plus.
