Inventory Control Clerk 1

JOB SUMMARY

The primary responsibilities of this role will be to manage the daily execution of inventory movement and system transactions for our inventory.  Investigates material discrepancies, report findings to management and make recommendations for improvement as necessary.  Those who have experience managing warehouse inventory are encouraged to apply.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintains physical inventory for all materials/parts
• Execute processes to properly label, place, pick and store all inventory
• Create (“kit”), release, material issue, complete, and close work tickets for internal builds
• Make material corrections to released work orders as instructed by production/management
• Ensure proper documentation is prepared for internal processing of raw material and sub-assemblies for both internal and external work tickets
• Manages daily pick sheets for inventory fulfillment (if necessary)
• Maintain and update inventory records in ERP system
• Creates work tickets as necessary and ensures proper documentation is prepared for internal processing of inventory
• Completes necessary transactions for all material movement to ensure material is accounted for properly
• Participates in inventory cycle counts and daily audits; researches and resolves inventory discrepancies
• Prepares depleted inventory list for purchasing and management review
• Reports all stock issues to management
• Special projects as required

REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma or GED required, some college is preferred 
• 1-3 years of experience in an inventory role, IC industry preferred
• Detail-oriented, able to multi-task and thrive in a dynamic, professional environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Hands-on experience with inventory control software systems; ERP experience is required
• Self-motivated, productive, enthusiastic and result oriented

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

• Computer skills, including databases and spreadsheets for efficient data entry.
• Able to read and understand inventory lists, bill of materials and other inventory documents.
