Responsibilities
- Edit Raw Footage: Transform raw content from client shoots into polished, engaging videos, including social media clips, internal corporate pieces, thought leadership videos, and executive profiles.
- Storytelling Through Video: Identify key talking points and narratives from raw footage to create compelling stories that align with client objectives and brand messaging.
- B-Roll Integration: Seamlessly integrate B-roll footage, graphics, and animations to enhance the visual appeal and impact of each video.
- Creative Collaboration: Work closely with producers, creatives, and clients to ensure the final product aligns with the creative vision and project goals.
- File Management: Organize and maintain a database of raw footage, edited videos, and project files, ensuring easy access and efficient workflows.
- Animation & Graphics: Utilize tools like Adobe After Effects to create simple animations and graphics that elevate the quality of each video.
- Quick Turnarounds: Deliver high-quality edits on tight deadlines, ensuring timely delivery of client projects.
- Quality Control: Review and refine edits to ensure the highest level of quality, consistency, and brand alignment.
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience as a video editor, ideally with a focus on corporate or branded content.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop.
- Strong understanding of video production workflows, from pre-production to post-production.
- Experience editing executive interviews, thought leadership pieces, and corporate profiles.
- Ability to identify key narratives and talking points from raw footage.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A creative eye for detail, with the ability to enhance videos through B-roll, graphics, and animations.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Bonus: Experience with motion graphics, animation, or advanced After Effects techniques.
Compensation
- Salary range: 50,000–70,000 annually, depending on experience and skill level.
